SHAMANISM
We are storytellers.
We can walk between the worlds.
We are part of forests, mountains, waterfalls and meadows.
We are nature.
... or at least, that's how we lived for most of our 200.000 years of human history. About 6000 years ago, the shift to agriculture changed our relationship with the world and nature itself. We began seeing ourselves as separate and superior.
That separation came at a cost. Like a leaf declaring independence from the tree, it disconnected us from our true source of power. Our personal and collective stories of what it means to be human became distorted. We've created a world filled with depression, anxiety and inequality, driving us rapidly toward Anthropocene extinction. We've lost our way. Luckily, shamanism shows us the way back - or rather, forward.
If you want to know more about shamanism and animism, explore below. Ultimately, though, the map is not the territory - shamanism is a path of direct, personal experience. While some understanding is necessary to provide context and a map of where we’re headed, the journey itself is one of experiential learning and discovery. When you feel is time, you are welcome to book a session or start your shamanic path.
